E-mails, e-mails, e-mails

There have been a lot of them flying into my inbox and out of my sent box these past few days. E-mails to the adoption agency; e-mails to Lori, the Haiti coordinator who has personally completed three separate Haitian adoptions and knows the answer to just about any question; e-mails to Haiti; e-mails to two of our former grant agencies that seem very positive about the possibility of re-awarding our grants to us (Praise God!)

Today the e-mails were flying between social workers, me, and the two other American wives here in Santiago who are planning to have home studies done at the same time. We need to decide on Who (which social worker, which I think we've pretty well decided after today); When (mid-February, hopefully); and How (logistics of travel, lodging, divvying up the costs, etc.)

Lots of communication going on here. Hopefully towards a very fruitful end!!

Aren't you so glad we have e-mail?? (At least at times like these!) I can't imagine your trying to do all this by phone!
