Psychologist Today

Pedro and I met with a psychologist today for yet another requirement of our dossier. He is a Christian and I am very thankful; in Chile, psychology is so huge and so worldly and if we have to do this, I am so glad we can meet with someone who views psychology through the lens of God's Word.

He interviewed us together, gave us homework (a test for each of us to complete) and then will interview us separately on Tuesday. After that, if all goes well he will write letters of recommendation for us to be notarized, authenticated and added to the dossier pile.

The social worker is arriving March 1. There will be more interviews with him. I told Pedro that we definitely ought to have a good marriage after how many times it has been scrutinized and evaluated over these past seven years! It's not fun, but it's a sacrifice we are willing to make for our kids - present and future.

Today I finally broke down and wrote to our adoption coordinator in Haiti to see if there are pictures ready of our twins. I am an eager Mommy and can't wait much longer! (:

That's quite different from ours! We met individually and did things like tell what was going on in a series of pictures, draw pictures, and go through different case scenarios. It was amazing, though, how much he got from them!
