You Can Pray, Too

The following are specific prayer requests for the coming weeks and months:

• That Ian and Eliana would remain safe and healthy during the coming year prior to arriving home to us.

• That we could obtain a needed background check from the state of Delaware without complications.

• That our homestudy be completed smoothly and promptly and that our entire dossier be ready for Haiti by sometime in April.

• That we would be able to tighten our budget to send money to support our babies each month with formula and diapers ($5/day/per child = $300/monthly.)

• That we would have the funds for our homestudy within the next two weeks ($500 paid, approximately $2300 needed.)

• That we would have the funds for ½ of both adoptions and the full agency fee by the time the dossier is sent to Haiti in April.

Regarding the latter two, we are still in the process of putting together one or two adoption fundraisers. My collection of poetry is being reviewed by two possible publishers and we are considering other options as well. Also, we have installed a PayPal button on both of our blogs for anyone who might be interested in supporting our adoption that way.
