Do you ever get to the point where you feel like if you don't laugh, you'll cry, but you just haven't got it in you to laugh anymore at yet another "twist of fate" on your adoption journey? (Please don't misunderstand, I don't truly believe in fate and I do truly believe in God's sovereignty but sometimes it feels that way!)
I thought we had finally put the I-600A fiasco behind us, until we received an e-mail from USCIS/Lima today. We know that they received our I-600A application (packet #1) and today they informed us that they had received our homestudy (packet #3). But, they said they have not received our fingerprint cards (packet #2) which our courier service shows as having been delivered at 11:35 am on April 3.
So, I provided the delivery information to our contact at USCIS and am just praying that someone finds those cards today!!!
