About Ian & Alec

About Ian:

~ He is SO full of curiosity and personality

~ He loves to interact with other people, making eye contact, babbling, trying to elicit smiles even from strangers

~ He can roll over and scoot around, especially backwards

~ He can say “dada” and “babwa” (his version of our adoption coordinator’s name) and tries to imitate other sounds

~ He can hold his bottle by himself (although Mommy and Daddy insist on helping!)

~ He “talks” himself to sleep

~ He loves to grab anything and everything – he was DELIGHTED with a rattle we gave him today, and really wanted to bang on the computer keys when we Skyped our families back home

~ He snuggles when held, and holds on tightly – he is “muy de piel” as they say in Chile, and loves to be touched and have his head rubbed

~ He gets very excited when laid down next to Alec, scoots over and touches him and gurgles at him and makes him laugh in return

~ He is really ticklish and has the best laugh

~ He rarely cries

~ He is tons of fun and the cutest thing ever!

About Alec:

~ He is quiet and calm

~ He loves to be held and to snuggle

~ He has a sweet, gentle disposition

~ He rarely cries

~ He is fascinated with ceiling fans

~ His best grins and giggles are in response to Ian

~ He likes to eat and sleep

~ He is a cute, chunky little man

~ He is the sweetest, cuddliest baby ever!

Stephanie--You could have seen the GLOW on your dad's face last night when he was talking about seeing your boys! You continue in our prayers every day. May the boys come home quickly!

I'm so glad that you finally got to hold your sweeties! Are Ian & Alec together in the same center/orphanage so they've gotten to bond before, or was this the first time? We've been praying for you and I've been giving updates to Pastor and Bethann Whittenburg.
