Sometimes I Can't Help Hoping

I know ... I really, really know ... that no two adoptions from Haiti are the same. I know that no two timelines are the same. I know that I shouldn't get excited.

But sometimes, I can't help hoping.

Today, a family who was in IBESR about the same length of time as us and who got out of IBESR two days before us, got out of Parquet.

I can't help hoping we'll get the same news, too.

Today, a family from our agency who was released from IBESR on April 25 found out that their daughter will almost certainly be escorted home to them by August 25. That's only four months from IBESR exit to home!!

I can't help hoping we'll be blessed with the same quick process.

Most of all, I can't help hoping that maybe we will get our Christmas miracle ... maybe, just maybe our boys will be home to celebrate with us.

Because sometimes hopes do become reality ...

Jesus looked at them intently and said, "Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible."

You must not be doing parquet in Pap. I've heard it can go quite quickly in other areas.

We are also hoping that we have a no later than Christmas miracle. We made it out of IBESR in three months but have been in Parquet for close to 5 months now.
