I was hoping to see this in writing because it is something I have longed for these many months. But even though the e-mail didn't come out and say so I know by having read (and re-read and re-read) the steps of Haitian adoption, that this must be true. The best part of being in MOI means that in the step prior to this one, our boys' adoption was legalized in Haiti.
In other words, the boys now carry our last name. Legally. As in, there are two more Garcias in the world today! My heart is full with the thought. Thank You, Lord ...

That is WONDERFUL! Yeah! I'm sure your heart is full!
Yes, that's true. They have actually had your last name for a while as that happens somewhere in the middle of Parquet/Second Legal. It's a great feeling, isn't it?
It feels so wonderful when they have your last name! I am rejoicing over your recent progress.
Welcome to the family, Ian and Alec! Auntie Terri can't wait to meet you!
How exciting!! We are praying that the rest of the process continues to fly through the steps needed to get Ian and Alec home with you.
