They Are Here!

It will take many words to share the adventure of Ian and Alec's homecoming. The best description I can give of the past 24 hours is that it was like "feeling your way in the dark." Plans were made, plans were changed, but ultimately GOD's plan remained and our sons are here!
I slipped downstairs for a few minutes to write because I know so many have been praying and waiting for news. From the depths of my heart I thank you. The love and support we've received have been absolutely incredible.
Our two beautiful boys are bathed, fed, in clean new jammies and awaiting their first night's sleep on US soil. I have gotten some adorable pictures but am unable to upload them at the hotel where we are spending this first night. Hopefully tomorrow!
This feels like a beautiful, wonderful dream and I am in awe. Thank You, Lord. Thank You, Lord!!

I don't know you but I was forwarded your story by a dear sister in Christ. Your story is inspiring and indeed God-sized. He is faithful, loving, and always RIGHT ON TIME.

I will continue to pray for the people of Haiti.

I have been waiting and praying anxiously! Thank you for this update and I couldn't be happier for you! Praying you have no problems getting what you need to take Ian and Alec home! And also praying for your three other children while you are away! Can't wait to see what these first few weeks hold for your precious sons!

I have been watching your blog for any updates and I was thrilled to see the heading "They Are Here!" I have been glued to the tv and crying tears of pure joy as I watch the children arriving here in the U.S. and being united with the families that have waited so long to hold them. I hope to be like you and welcoming a child into our family soon. I am hoping that they will start quickly to open the adoption process to those of us that weren't yet knee deep in paperwork. I find myself crying out loud at the images that I have been seeing today especially...with the necessary amputations because of delayed care and the staggering new numbers of orphans estimated at 1 million.

I will look for updates on a daily basis and am anxiously awaiting your pictures. Much love to all of you and your beautiful growing family!

I came in and jumped on the computer as soon as I woke up to see if you had those precious babies yet! Praise the Lord! Thos little guys certainly did have their angels watching over them the past days. I will be praying that they can make all the adjustments they will need to make. It is great that God makes little ones SO resilient! Enjoy loving and spoiling them! Jerry and Joy Lancaster
