Wednesday Morning

The boys slept long and hard last night (so did Mom and Dad.) Ian's fever seemed to subside. Right now Daddy is feeding Alec breakfast. Turns out he is a real fan of instant cinnamon sugar oatmeal! (Okay, the truth is that he is a fan of anything he can stuff in his mouth!)
Today we will have lunch at Pedro's grandma's and we are requesting Mexican rice and beans for our Haitian boys! From there we return to Miami area, about a 4-hour drive. Fortunately the boys seem to enjoy car rides and even their car seats!
Praying for Haiti as we have just heard of the latest quake. Our hearts rejoice with our boys' homecoming and yet are burdened for their homeland and those left behind.
I promise longer updates and pictures as soon as we have our own e-mail connection (typing from the hotel lobby at this moment.) Thank you for your loving thoughts and prayers. I saw this morning that I have 68 comments to read on Facebook and 48 to read on our blog! Can't wait. You have truly blessed and encouraged our hearts on this journey.

I can't help but tear up when I read these posts Steph. I've been thinking back to when we were both starting the process to add number 4 to our families.

I remember that talks about the agency in TX

I remember you leaving the states with out the baby you knew was meant to be your son.

I remeber when you started the Haitian process. How amazing and daunting it sounded.

And now you have the.

Big tears! Thank you Jesus!!

It's so amazing to read that your boys are finally with you! I know it's been a very long journey for all of you.

A side note: I was at church tonight for choir practice and read in on our prayer list for "a missionary couple" (that our church supports)are flying to bring home their boys. The prayer requested listed your names and I said "Hey I know this family! I read their blog"! I never put two and two together to realize that my church supports your ministry...what a small world!
