Lori at the Rescue Center

Pray for Lori at the Rescue Center in Haiti. Her sister Licia is currently in the States, so Lori is handling the medical emergencies on her own and has had some really awful ones back to back! You can visit her site for more details, but be forewarned that there are graphic pictures of wounds ... just to give you an idea, though, please pray for the following:

Alex, who was brought to the States on an emergency medical visa and who just had major surgery putting in a tube (shunt) to drain off fluid from his brain

Two 3 1/2 year old little girls (Kenia & Yverline) who arrived within 5 minutes of each other, both with horrific burns over their private areas and legs

Rosena, a two-month old baby girl whose mother died in childbirth and who arrived weighing merely 5 lbs

Lori also shared the story of a former patient who died while in the hospital awaiting surgery. He was the father of a voudoo leader in the area and had always served satan, but on his last visit with Lori he shared that he had ask Jesus to come into his heart because of the love that he felt from all the staff at the rescue clinic. God is still in the business of miraculously changing lives, praise Him!
