Pictures

An e-mail from a family friend who recently returned from Haiti included these pictures, along with this description:

I am hopeful that the pictures will give you some
sense of how poor the country is and how bad the infrastructure is at
the current time. There are piles of garbage everywhere and the streets
in many places are passable by 4 wheel drive vehicles only.

This far removed from it all, it is hard to even imagine what it is like - but that is why I so appreciate the insights from others who have truly been there and seen first-hand the realities of this country where our children live ...
