I was reading Jamie's post about packing for her trip to Haiti next week (I'm SO hoping our paths might cross in Port-au-Prince!) Tomorrow I plan to have Pedro take the kids out for a few hours so I can open our suitcases and re-pack from our cancelled trip last month. It's a little frustrating, because the only airline that flies between Chile and Haiti has rather strict luggage requirements - only 70 lbs total per passenger, and that must be divided between a 20-lb and 50-lb suitcase apiece. We're planning to take an extra suitcase because we have lots of donations - diapers, wipes, formula, clothes - for the other children as well as our own boys.
