Here He Is Again!

I feel like I need to explain why we receive so many more pictures of Ian than of Alec. (I've actually gotten to the point of not showing all the new pictures to Eva, because she gets very defensive of poor Alec! What a good big sister.)

Anyway, the reason Ian is so much easier to photograph is that he basically lives in the visitors' apartment now. Meaning, anyone who needs to take a break, or get a bite to eat, or something to drink, will probably pass through his living quarters at one time or another. Also, since he is with an English-speaking caregiver, visitors who only speak English can interact with LaWanna in a way they can't with Alec's nanny. Alec lives in a different room, with different caregivers who only speak Creole. If he doesn't happen to be outside when the visitors are snapping pictures, then we miss the chance to get a picture of him - and this seems to be the case quite frequently. We're told he likes to sleep a lot - and eat, from the photos we do see of him! :)

The update we received with these pictures was really cute. It said:
Ian had just woken up from his nap. He wouldn't smile much for me. LaWanna was taking good care of him. She was feeding him salmon patty leftovers from the night before. Also, I took a video for you of him eating. I will send it to you when I get home. LaWanna said she told you about his happy noises when he eats. I heard them. He is so cute. Sorry I couldn't get smilier photos for you, but he is doing really well!
Thank you, Erin, for these wonderful pictures!!
