Steph - I read your post and got up, kneeled by my bed and offer the most fervent prayer I could. I so so hope that Lord's plan is for your babies to come home now!
praying you are one of them! IBESR didnt release our file until my husband sat in her office for 3 days and wouldnt leave. she finally got sick of him and signed off(in oct. of 03) LOL. we waited exactly 13 months, but only because we went there and finished it ourselves.13 months is not that long of a wait, for a haitian adoption in total(especially nowadays), but 10 mos in IBESR alone doesnt seem fair! hang in there!
Steph, we are praying that these files would be released as promised and that yours would be part of them. That would be wonderful news to so many families. Andrea E.
Praying your files are released ASAP!!! I have been stopping by occasionally for a while but I don't think I've left a comment yet...your boys are gorgeous!! I am also adopting from Haiti, a now two year old girl that I have been waiting for for 15 months....I have been in IBESR over 8 months now, and SO discouraged at the delay....praying along with you that the flood gates open soon!! We all need these children HOME. Email me at the address on my profile if you are interested in an invite to my blog..=)
This blog was created to chronicle our family's journey to adopt our fourth child, a little boy from Haiti. Long before knowing him, we chose his name: Ian, meaning "God is gracious." Along the way our journey grew to include not only one, but two little boys from Haiti!
Ian and Alec finally arrived home on January 19, 2010.
