Say Hi!

Thank you so much for your comments! I love "meeting" all of you - and reconnecting with those I know already. :) I am posting new entries below this one but keeping this at the top of my blog for a bit longer in case anyone else stops by!
---------------------
I interrupt my journal postings to say that I was amazed to realize that since my return from Haiti this little blog has been receiving over 130 visits a day. I don't think this necessarily means 130 separate people visit each day, and it may not be much to a big-name blogger, but it is rather a lot for me! :)

I would very much like to know who is stopping by, and I would especially love to know if you have an adoption story of your own. Please take a minute to say hi!

Sincerely,
Stephanie

I'll be the first to say HI. I am a singel mom to 2 beautiful girls born in Haiti. Even though my girls have been home for a while (5 years and 2 years) I still love reading about other people's adoption experiences. I will be praying that your boys are home soon.

I love your blog! I am a single mother to a 6 year old boy and 5 year old girl adopted from Russia. For years I have looked into adopting from Haiti. The wait is crazy! I also feel a strong draw to Haiti and wonder if God is calling me there. We will see! WE pray for you daily!

Hi Steph,
Glad you are back so we can hear about your trip, but knowing that means you are away from some of your kids. Hope all are under one roof soon!

Hi Stephanie,
It's me your friend. I check your blog daily to see how things are going for you and your family. I know the emotions that you are feeling because I have adopted 2 children from Russia. An international adoption has alot of emotions because things are much different there then here. You are waiting on their government. Things can change at a minute notice.
I also read your blog so that I know how to pray for you guys. I also get on your blog just for encouragement.
Praying that those little boys come home soon.
Love ya,
Stacey

Hi!
I have your blog in my google reader, so I don't know if my visits show up or not, but I've been following your journey for a while now. We have 5 children, one of which was adopted from Ukraine and another adopted from Serbia. We're now in the process of adopting 2 boys from Bulgaria...our dossier is on it's way across the ocean now!

Hi! I try to check your blog daily for news of your sweet boys coming home! I have never adopted but feel so drawn to it. My husband and I have 3 children and I am waiting to see if God is calling me to be a mother through adoption as well. I can't remember how I found your blog, think it was through other adoption blogs. Praying for your family to be united! ~Jenny

I'm still here, too, Stephanie! My check-ups have been a bit half hazard lately though - busy busy. BUT we're heading to Haiti the beginning of November! As far as we know we're still sitting in Parquet, but we can't wait to go. Urbana saw a quick glimpse of one of the RHFH photos the other day and got so "mother hen" on me! It was adorable to say the least! She said "heyyyy. . . .mama, baby MY baby Seve". Apparently to her the little guy resembled her brother in Haiti! All will meet face to face in a few short weeks - can't wait is an understatement! glad you're reunited in Chile and forging ahead in Haiti!

Hi Stephanie!

I came across your blog when we began our research to adopt from Haiti. We are still searching our hearts as we do have bio children at home and that complicates matters for adoption. But our hearts feel so drawn. I have kept you guys in our prayers for many a month :) and will continue to do so. Thank you for sharing your journey!

I have your site bookmarked and stop in about once a month. Eight years ago we met our boys for the first time in Haiti and brought them home later the same week. I ache when I realize how long the process is taking for you. Ours took 8 months- things tightened up soon after we came home.
