Pass the Passports, Please!

WE HAVE PASSPORTS!!!

Yes, indeed, we are out of MOI and we have passports in hand. Praise GOD from Whom all blessings flow! Below is the e-mail we received from our adoption coordinator tonight. She has been traveling in Argentina and the Philippines for the past several weeks. Needless to say we are beyond excited! Thank you, Lord!!

I am back and I got your passports today.!!!!!!
They will go to the doctors this week and then the papers will go to the INS, USCIS or what ever they are calling themselfs this year. The boys are doing great too!!!!

Praise God!! The next steps are US controlled, right? These should be fast, right? Praying hard that you have your whole family in Chile before 2010!!

Do you usually get the passports when you get out of MOI or was that a coincidence?

Stephanie,
I am sitting here with tears of joy running down my cheeks for your family. Praise God for passports!!!
We are one year into our adoption of our daughter from Haiti. When I first started researching Haitian adoptions your blog is the first one that I came across and booked into my "favorites". I have since been a regular follower on your blog. It has provided encouragment to our family as we are on our adoption journey as well.
Rejoicing with your family!! They are so close to being home.

Hi, I just stumbled upon your blog. We are about to start the journey of adopting from Haiti.
I was thrilled to find your blog and start to learn more about the Haitian process.
We have adopted from Ethiopia and Uganda, but this process if so different.

Congrats on your progress

Hooooooray!

We are SO excited for you!

So, what's your game plan on getting the boys to Chile!?! Can you get a Chilean visa or do you plan to go back stateside and get an expedited US passport and Chilean visa from there? We're awaiting passports and visa and are beginning to wonder how it will work getting the children to Italy. Joel's employer does add some interesting red tape to our game plan, but wondering how you guys will be going about "things"! Oh I pray and pray we can be in Haiti together this coming month to bring all of our children home together! What a blessing that would be! praying praying praying!
