Children Caught in the Middle, Part Four

Enough is enough:
http://godslittlestangelsinhaiti.org/2010/02/02/unicef-a-call-to-action/
Please get the word out to change UNICEF's policies in Haiti and get the children the kind of care they truly deserve! As of right now, orphanages with qualified personnel stand empty and willing to provide comfort and care to displaced children. In the case of these children, it is not about adoption. It is about a place of security and safety. However, UNICEF is instead requiring that these children remain in tent cities under their supervision.

This is not in the best interest of the children. This is in the best interest of UNICEF, because as one missionary on the ground in Haiti writes:

Does UNICEF benefit from keeping orphans as orphans? Yes. Without orphans and poverty there would be no UNICEF.

Please read the post above. Please read the post below. And if your heart is in any way stirred by the injustice, please let your voice be heard!

Steph, check this out:
http://www.unicef.org/media/media_52613.html . My friend, Beth wrote on her blog after reading my blog, and she also sent an e-mail to de Bono, referenced at the end of the article. He wrote back and told her that what she is hearing is "nonsense." Obviously he is sitting in NY and not in Haiti!
