At the very beginning of our adoption journey, I won an adoption giveaway. The prize was a handmade painted canvas with the verse of my choice.

I posted a picture of the canvas when it arrived, along with these words:

"It is meant to be a reminder and inspiration to us during the long months of waiting for our twins to arrive."

(Little did I know then how very long the wait would be, and what changes would be in store!)

This photo was my limited attempt to capture the canvas as it currently hangs on my kitchen wall, directly over the two babies who are the fulfillment of that promise.

Truly the One who called us was faithful, and He did do it ... Praise Him!
