Part Two:I had the privilege of "meeting" one of the moms (Sherry Fitzpatrick) mentioned in this article, as she and I corresponded in the aftermath of the earthquake. This is a simply amazing story of how one church responded to the orphan crisis in Haiti, first by offering their funds; then their time; and finally, their own families and lives.

That was incredible. Will you post when the second part comes out?
Stephanie,
Thank you for posting the link to "our" story on your blog. We are humbled and amazed that our story has drawn national attention. In the end it realy isn't our story, it is truly God's story and we are honored that he chose us to be a part of it. Words can't express how thankful we are that God said "yes" to us and has allowed us to become mommy and daddy to this sweet little girl.
Jayla is in the first photo of the article entitled part one. She is to the far left wearing the pink shirt.
I still enjoy following your blog and seeing your family transition into your new normal routine. Your blog will always be special to me as it was the first one that I found when we began our own adoption journey.
Blessings,
Sheri
