You can tell from these pictures that Pedro is a fun-loving, wrestling sort of daddy. After living surrounded by mostly women, that has taken a little getting used to for our boys!
Sometimes feelings have been sensitive and tears have been shed. But just one look at these faces will tell you that for the most part, Ian and Alec love the wild boyish play!
Perhaps the greatest gift our boys have been given is the love and presence of a father.
As my wife and I are going through the adoption process, I never gave it a thought about these children lacking father figures. Thank you for sharing your hearts and we are jealous for you. Awesome!
We love your blog and will check in regularly. Thank you for all the available links as well. Also, we hope you don't mind but we are stealing your Haiti clock and putting it on ours. Thank you again and may God continue to bless your family.
This blog was created to chronicle our family's journey to adopt our fourth child, a little boy from Haiti. Long before knowing him, we chose his name: Ian, meaning "God is gracious." Along the way our journey grew to include not only one, but two little boys from Haiti!
Ian and Alec finally arrived home on January 19, 2010.
