Please Continue to Visit Us on Our Family Blog

Hi!

I don't have a blog counter set up any longer, so I really have no idea how many or few people still visit this little corner of the internet. It has been such a comfortable place to share the wild and crazy journey of our Haitian adoption, and it is incredible to think that we are at nine months and counting since Ian and Alec finally came home. My thoughts at this point are to close the blog once we reach the one-year anniversary of their homecoming. We'll see.

A friend captured this picture of Alec last week and I thought it was so cute. If you are one of those who visits and reads our story, would you take time to say "Hi!?"

"HI"
I have followed your blog for about a year now, I think I have commented before. Love your boys and love your family. You and your husband are doing a wonderful job rasing these little cuties:)

Hi there. I enjoy your blog and would missed it. I have a 2 year old grandson with antics similiar to your sons. :) Thank you for giving a look into your world. I appreciate and am encouraged by your Christian example. Keep up the good work you do for the Lord and if you end this blog after a year, I think it is both reasonable and good. Warm regards from Michigan!

Hi Stephanie!
I have greatly enjoyed reading both of your blogs, especially the accounts and pictures of your family life.
I think your father is quite justified in being proud of you. You seem to be a very good and wise mother and wife.
God continue to bless you.

I still visit it, Sis! But I could understand the closing of a chapter and moving to just your family blog. Love you!

I always enjoy seeing your pictures and reading your stories :) I just don't do it when Steven's around because every little thing leads to a thousand "why?" questions. I'm not enjoying that part of an almost three year old at all!

Hi, my name is Mandy. I went to Haiti in July 2009 and helped take care of your two boys. I have been reading blogs since my trip. I love yours! It's so great to see how the boys are doing that I took care of. I usually read your blog at least once a week! I hope you continue!

Hi Stephanie! I started reading your blogs because you're in Chile and I miss it so much. Through your blog I learned of Haiti and have read many other blogs from adoptingfrom or working in Haiti. I just got back from a week in Haiti and now I see the pull it has it is truly a beautiful place. What you write really goes further than you can imagine and I will read for as long as you continue blogging! Thanks!

I actually just came across your blog within the past week or so - I find it encouraging and helpful to follow others' stories before and after adoption, and also find it gives me a sense of belonging and "reality" in regard to our own, long adoption process (with no end in sight).

Hi! I have been reading since your boys came home...heard about it from my Mom (my family attended First Baptist in Lapeer). I love your blog...it's beautifully written and shows just what a tender heart you have.

Stephanie,
I still read and enjoy your blog. Yours was the first blog I found when we were ready to embark on our adoption. I loved it then and still do. I do understand that you might be just a bit busier these days tho. :)

Hi Stephanie,
I found you through another adoption blog of a special friend. I have been following your blog for a couple of years now and love checking in to see your boys and what they are up to. Can you believe how much they have grown in the last year? And what cuties too! Your written words will mean so much to them someday.
Hugs, Marj

I have followed both of your blogs since the earthquake. I love seeing the growth in your children. However, I can see how you would go to just the family blog.

Hi Cutie! Oh, you too Alec ;)

I hadn't stopped by for a while with our crazy life, but for some reason today I missed you and wanted to know how your family was doing.

My girls and I still visit your blogs to see the new details of your 5 children (3 that we know and 2 still waiting to meet). We enjoy both blogs. I'm confident that your family is moving from the standpoint of thinking "adoption" to thinking "family", so it would be understandable to just do one blog. We are anxious to see all the children when you return to visit Michigan.
