Far From Ready

Those were the words in the latest e-mail we received from Haiti, in response to mine asking if there was any chance at all that the boys might be close to coming by the time I visit in March:
"No your boys are far from ready to go home."
I guess this is even more reason to keep praying for that miracle ... after all, a miracle when it's darkest will shine the brightest ...

But my heart is hurting today.

Lord just give peace to this hurting mommas heart. Let her rest in Your perfect timing for her family to be all together. May her eyes stay focused on You and all Your ways. Let her think upon all that is good and right. Let Your peace flood her spirit right now in the name of Jesus.

Wow, I am so sorry. This whole process is just unbelievably difficult. We would like to adopt one more, but after this wait, I am pretty sure it won't be from Haiti. IT is so sad they (not exactly sure who "they" are) make it so difficult for kids to get to their families...hang in there.

Stephanie, I'm so sorry you are hurting. This wait is awful and I hate that any family has to endure it. :o(

Your family is in my prayers.

The boys WILL come home to you.
Try to use this time to enjoy
your 3 kids. Believe me they
grow up so fast. This time
was given to you to make special
memories as a family of 5.
Once you are a family of 7
you will have less time for
all of them. And you will want
to bond with the 2 new angels.
I am praying that they come
home to you by the summer...

alejandra

"You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in your bottle. Are they not in your book?...This I know, that God is for me. In God whose word I praise, in the Lord, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid...I must perform my vows to you, O God. I will render thank offerings to you. For you have delivered my soul from death, yes, my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of life." Psalm 56:8-13

It is a priveledge to join in praying for a miracle with you :) He is making this world and its workings serve a gospel purpose in your life and those around you. I pray for a fresh glimpse of the riches of Christ in your wait!
