The director of IBESR, where our papers languish, was reportedly absent from the office the past two weeks due to different conferences and activities. Now, the word is that she is on a trip to France and thus will not be signing any adoption dossiers.
Meanwhile our children and hundreds like them continue to helplessly wait.
This is ludicrous ... and so unfair.

I'm so sorry, Stephanie. This news is sad and it truly is ludicrous! I just have a hard time wrapping my mind around the idea of just leaving children and families in limbo for so long.
I'm so glad you have a deep love for your children - both near and far. They are super blessed to have you and be promised to you.
Thank you for sharing this journey with me, and others. I will still be praying like mad!!!!!
I'm so sorry. I read this and it makes me truly furious because these people honestly could care less about these children and their families. They get to go on vacation to France or wherever and I'm sure it's with money they get from NOT doing their job. I'm praying for your family and your boys.
hayyyyyy por favorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr QUE IMPOTENCIA!!!!!
I so remember feeling that way while stuck in IBESR. Even up to the end I always found it ironic how many Haitian holidays there are and/or reasons to not go to work while so many children languish in orphanages. I completely understand your feelings.
