My sweet friend Melissa wrote a post on her blog today, requesting prayer for our family and our adoption of Ian and Alec. In the post she mentioned that we have waited for 600 days to bring our sons home (calculating from the day we accepted their referral.)

We must have started our adoptions at the same time. I did a quick count. 20 months at 30 days each = 600 days...with no end in sight for us. Still very excited that you will soon have your 2 darling boys home with you!!!

you made me curious...it took 847days to bring Asher home from dossier submission till he was in my husbands arms this past September.
