Praise God that now he is in a family that is feeding him physically, emotionally and spiritually. We thank God that He brought the boys to your family!
I was just wondering, is breastfeeding not very common in Haiti?? Otherwise, it seems like infants would be fairly "covered" food-wise for the first year or so.
Oh My...Doesn't that just make your heart break. To think that people like unicef would prefer that vunerable orphans would stay in their home country under these conditions...hard to understand. Ian and Alec have been blessed with a very special family.
Stephanie I was wondering if I could use these pictures on my blog and share a little about your story? Let me know, I will just share a link and that you adopted the boys but these pictures are reality and I don't think a lot of people really see how bad it really it is. If not, no problem. They are really cute!!
This blog was created to chronicle our family's journey to adopt our fourth child, a little boy from Haiti. Long before knowing him, we chose his name: Ian, meaning "God is gracious." Along the way our journey grew to include not only one, but two little boys from Haiti!
Ian and Alec finally arrived home on January 19, 2010.

Oh my gosh Steph! Those pictures make me want to cry. I've seen lots of similar pictures out of Haiti but never knew the stories behind them.
